Who Can I Trust?

You might be wondering who currently said "Who Can I Trust?" In the days and times that we live, most likely many people are asking the same question. Probably the question should be "Who Can I Trust" other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? However, for this message we are thinking specifically of the Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu.

Currently, the Israeli Defense Forces of Israel are in Southern Gaza with the primary purpose of identifying and eliminating Hamas. This assignment comes with many difficult challenges. They must identify who is Hamas among the citizens and the newest challenge is Egypt, who used to be a friend of Israel, is now siding with Hamas. We also learned that tents which Israel provided for the citizens just "mysteriously" burned. Who can really believe this is a "mystery?"

The Israeli Defense Forces and the citizens of Southern Gaza certainly  need our continuing prayers. Please pray with us Psalm 75.

Vs. 1 - "We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near."

Vs. 2 - "When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly."

Vs. 3 - "The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I set up its pillars firmly."

Vs. 4,5 - "I said to the boastful, 'do not deal boastfully,' and to the wicked, 'do not lift up the horn. Do not lift up your horn on high; do not speak with a stiff neck.'"

Vs. 6 - "For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south."

Vs. 7 - "But God is the Judge; He puts down one, and exalts another."

Vs. 8 - "For in the hand of The Lord is a cup, and the wine is red; it is fully mixed, and He pours it out; surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth drain and drink down."

Vs. 9 - "But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob."

Vs. 10 - "All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."

Blessings,

Psalm 122:6

Those who love and pray for Israel are familiar with Psalm 122:6 which says, "Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem." Jerusalem in this verse is more than the capital of Israel for it includes all of the physical land of Israel but also includes the Jewish People worldwide. Since Israel was founded in 1948 it has continually been involved in fighting wars and Jehovah God has empowered the Israeli Defense Forces to win every conflict. Let Us All Praise The Lord!

Currently, they are involved in fighting a war in Southern Gaza. This is not a typical war but is still a war trying to totally eliminate Hamas as a terror organization. The Israeli Defense Forces have Hamas cornered in Southern Gaza. However, it is very challenging because Hamas is difficult to identify since it mingles among the citizens and hides in the tunnels.

The Israeli Defense Forces need our continual prayers. I have chosen certain verses in Psalm 27 as it is a Psalm about defeating our enemies:

Vs. 4 - "One thing I have desired of The Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of The Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of The Lord, and to inquire in His temple."

Vs. 5 - "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle. He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."

Vs. 6 - "And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to The Lord."

Vs. 7 - "Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me and answer me."

Vs. 8 - "When You said, 'Seek My Face,' my heart said to You, 'Your face, Lord, I will seek."

"I Will Bless Those Who Bless You"

The quotation used for the title of this message is taken from Genesis 12:3 saying, "I Will Bless Those Who Bless You And I Will Curse Him Who Curses You." This is a very familiar verse for those who love Israel especially now with what is taking place in Southern Gaza. The Israeli Defense Forces are in Southern Gaza with the primary purpose of eliminating Hamas from its existence. This is a very important but also a very challenging assignment from Jehovah God since Hamas mingles among the citizens of Gaza. However, our Lord God has won every war for Israel, the only question is how and when will Hamas be eliminated?

Historically, Gaza was part of Israel until a former Israeli Prime Minister thought giving up Gaza would lead to peace. He even forced all the Israeli citizens living in Gaza to give up their land some of which were very large farms. Shortly thereafter Hamas was elected as the governing body and we now realize this act did not lead to peace.

The Israeli Defense Forces in Southern Gaza truly need our prayers, please join in praying Psalm 149:

Vs. 1 - "Praise The Lord! Sing to The Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of saints."

Vs. 2 - "Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King."

Vs. 3 - "Let them praise His name with the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp."

Vs. 4 - "For The Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation."

Vs. 5 - "Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds."

Vs. 6 - "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand."

Vs. 7 - "To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples."

Vs. 8 - "To find their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron."

Vs. 9 - "To execute on them the written judgement - this honor have all His saints. Praise The Lord!"

"Most Efficient"

The unique title for this message is referring to the Israeli Defense Forces including the ground forces and the Air Force. In reality, these forces have never been defeated! The day Israel was formed as a nation in 1948, they were attacked by the surrounding Arab nations but with the help of Jehovah God they were able to turn back the invading forces. They also were victories in the 1967 and 1973 wars. Recently, Iran tried to attack Israel with drones and rockets but this attack was stopped at the Israel border. Praise The Lord!

Israeli citizens support their military forces and even take great pride in their accomplishments. For example, when an Israeli man living in the United States heard about the October 7th attack, he immediately returned to Israel to fight with his Reserve Unit. Israeli Defense Forces are considered the most efficient in the world. They also show empathy to the area under attack. Currently, they are providing tents for the Palestinians who had to move to Southern Gaza.

Our prayers now are needed because the IDF is in the process of attempting to eliminate Hamas in Southern Gaza. Please join For Zion's Sake Ministry in praying Psalm 124:

Vs. 1 - "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, let Israel now say,"

Vs. 2 - "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us,"

Vs. 3 - "Then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;"

Vs. 4 - "Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;"

Vs. 5 - "Then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul."

Vs. 6 - "Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as prey to their teeth."

Vs. 7 - "Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped."

Vs. 8 - "Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth."

"And So All Israel Will Be Saved"

When people look at Romans 11:26 saying "And So All Israel Will Be Saved" the question has always been how will this happen? After all, millions of Jewish people are still living all around the world. What would cause all these people to be saved and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?

The other question that should be answered, "What would cause all the Jews to physically return to Israel?" The events happening in New York city and similar events around the world is a primary reason why Jews are planning to return. The second question is "How will all Israel be saved?" Zechariah 14:4 says, "And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives." This verse is predicting the physical return to earth of Jesus Christ, True Son of the True God. Zechariah 12:10 says

"Then they will look on Me whom they have pierced."

At That Moment "All Of Israel Will Be Saved!"

We ask you to join with For Zion's Sake Ministry in praying for the soon return of Jesus by praying selected verses of Psalm 135.

Vs. 4 - "For The Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His special treasure.

Vs. 12 - "And gave their land {Canaan} as a heritage, a heritage to Israel His people."

Vs. 14 - "For The Lord will judge His people, and He will have compassion on His servants."

Vs. 19 - "Bless The Lord, O house of Israel! Bless The Lord, O house of Aaron!"

Vs. 20 - "Bless The Lord, O house of Levi! You who fear The Lord, bless The Lord!"

Vs. 21 - "Blessed be The Lord out of Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem!"

Blessings,

Frank
