Israel Is Changed Forever

Israel is a totally different nation today than it was October 6, 2023. Approximately 1,400 Israelis have lost their lives and more than 200 soldiers and civilians were kidnaped and taken to North Gaza. Hamas has fired thousands of rockets from Gaza into Israeli towns and cities including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Within the last two weeks a small number of hostages, primarily older women and children, have been released by Hamas.

We who love Israel have an important role in this scenario by praying Psalm 83 every day in which verses 3,4 state that Israel's enemies "have consulted together . . . that the name of Israel may be remembered no more." However, later verses in this Psalm illustrate people pleading with Jehovah God to defeat Israel's enemies.

Psalm 83:13,15,16,17 say, "O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind! As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, so pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord. Let them be confounded and dismayed forever, yes, let them be put to shame and perish."

Our Lord God has won every war Israel has fought and the result of this current battle will also be a win for Israel! The only question we might ask is "When And How?" Our part is to pray Psalm 83 daily!

Israel Returns To The Lord

Our title for this message is the title for Ezekiel 36:8-38. Possibly your reaction to this title is surprise as it is for us. In this section of the Word of God, He is talking about people who knew Jesus as Lord and Savior, became backslidden and then again received Jesus as their Savior. The surprise is that only 2 percent of Israelis currently know Jesus as their Savior and Messiah. Let us explore this section of God's Word and find out its true meaning.

Ezekiel 36:8 says, "But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come." This verse is currently taking place since Jewish people from all around the world are returning to Israel. We believe this will even increase, since God's Chosen People are fearful no matter where they live.

Important! Please notice verse 22 says, "Therefore say to the house of Israel, thus says the Lord God; 'I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake.'" God is bringing His people back home to Israel "For His Holy Name."

In closing, Ezekiel 36:24-28 says, "For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you and you shall be clean! I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and you will keep My judgements and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people and I will be your God."

Jehovah God is bringing His people back to Israel so they {all of them} can accept Jesus as their Savior and Messiah. This confirms Romans 11:26 that says, "All Israel Will Be Saved!"

Hallelujah . . . Hallelujah . . . Hallelujah . . . Hallelujah

God Is In Control!

In light of all the turmoil currently taking place in Israel and Gaza, we at For Zion's Sake Ministry sense we all need to be reminded "God Is In Control!" Israel has had to fight many battles even one on the day it was founded in May of 1948. As we declare again God Is In Control, this is proven by the fact that God has won every battle for Israel and the current battle will end with Israel victorious in control of Gaza. The only question is when will this happen? Praise The Lord!

In the meantime, all of us who love Israel should pray diligently that God will bring forth this victory sooner than later. We have learned that a very effective way to pray is to repeat God's Word back to Him in our prayers. The following are Psalms we can pray now that illustrate Jehovah God Taking Care Of Israel:

Psalm 98:1-3 - "Oh, sing to The Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has openly shown in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel."

Psalm 99:1-3 - "The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim; let the earth be moved! The Lord Is Great In Zion, and He is high above all the peoples."

Psalm 102:12,13,16 - "But You, O Lord, shall endure forever, and the remembrance of Your name to all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time has come . . . for The Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory."

Psalm 125:1-2 - "Those who trust in The Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abide forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so The Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever."

Currently, we are witnessing our Lord God answering our prayers with the Israel Defense Forces in control of North Gaza and with hostages being released. Let us all persevere in our prayers for God to grant Israel total and complete victory in Gaza. Bless His Holy Name!

Why Israel?

Possibly during these days and times in which we live, you have questions why are Israel and the Jewish People under attack? It almost appears that the whole world is against them. WHY?

The book of Genesis answers this question especially chapter 12:2-3. Jehovah God is speaking to Abram and his descendants {The Jews} and says, "I will make you into a great nation; I will bless you . . . I will curse him who curses you." Jehovah God determined that the Jewish People would be "His Chosen People." WHY? We believe there is not any person who can answer this question. Also, it is important to note that Christians have become recipients of these blessings. {Romans 11:17}

How Has God Blessed Israel Past And Present?

Genesis 15:9-19 - Established with Israel an Unconditional Covenant.

Genesis 15:18 - Gave Israel land from Egypt to the Euphrates River.

Genesis 17:2 - Told Israel He would multiply them exceedingly.

Genesis 18:18 - Israel would become a great and mighty nation.

Genesis 22:17 - Their descendants will possess the gate of enemies.

Genesis 26:4 - All the nations will be blessed through Israel.

Genesis 26:24 - God told Israel "I am God and I will bless you."

We do not know why God chose Israel and the Jewish People but this we know . . . We should pray daily for Israel. {Psalm 122:6}

"All Israel Will Be Saved"

Our title is from Romans 11:26 and points to a day in the future when all the Jewish People from all around the world will be back in Israel recognizing Jesus as their Messiah and "Will Be Saved." Have we aroused your interest? We trust we have since this is a very important message! Romans 11:26 indeed says, "All Israel Will Be Saved." How and when will this happen?

We need to understand how all the Jews will desire to be physically back in Israel. To answer this question, currently Jewish People around the world are fearful and some have even been physically attacked. Jewish college students and those who work in Synagogues are trying to live their daily lives but at the same time are fearful. Anti-Semitism is at a level equal to the Holocaust.

How many of the Jewish People around the world are seriously considering moving back to Israel which is referred to as "Making Aliyah?" Historically, the following question has been raised "Why would wealthy Jews even consider moving to Israel?" Do the current world-wide conditions answer this question?

How will all Israel be saved? Zechariah 14:4 says about Jesus, "And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives." It is believed this will happen at the end of the Tribulation Period. Zechariah 12:10 says, "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced."

All The Jewish People Will Look At Jesus

{The One They Pierced}

And Recognize Him

 As Their Messiah

And Will Be Saved!

 Hallelujah!

Blessings,

Israel Loves Their Enemies

Matthew 5:43-44 illustrates Jesus saying, "You have heard that it was said, 'you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.'"

This is part of the Word of God that might cause us to think, "I do not desire to keep this directive from our Lord and Savior." However, if you lived in Israel, even now during the war they are fighting, you would witness this every day. Yes, even now, a surgeon living in Israel was asked, "If a terrorist who was injured was brought to you for treatment, would you treat him?" The surgeon replied, "Absolutely, YES!"

We will explore this question further by looking at daily life in Israel. Israel is described as a Pluralistic Democracy which gives equal rights to all including Arabs. They have more freedom in Israel than any other country in the Middle East. For example, Arabs living in Israel can become citizens meaning they vote in elections and elect members to the Knesset which is the governing body of Israel.

Arab women living in Israel have more freedom than any Arab country since they can attend any school, college or university. This is not the case in traditional Arab societies because it reduces male authority and respect. This raises the question, "Do Israelites living in Arab countries have similar rights and freedoms?" NO!

By the way, the Old Covenant also declares in the Torah that we should love our enemies. Leviticus 19:18 says, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Let us all love our enemies using Israel as our example.

Blessing Israel

Genesis 12:3 shows Jehovah God speaking to Abraham and his descendants who became the Jewish People, "I will bless those who bless you." Is there a more important time than right now for all of us to Bless Israel? The question is, how can we do this? Certainly, a place to start is to pray daily for the Peace Of Jerusalem. {Psalm 122:6} Additionally and very important, we can speak the truth concerning the events in Gaza as many mistruths are currently evident.

Following are some examples from the Word of God showing how those who Bless Israel were in turn blessed. The Book of Luke describes a situation where a Roman Centurion had a servant who was about to die. The Centurion sent Jewish Elders to Jesus asking Him to come and heal the servant. The Elders informed Jesus that the Centurion "Loves Israel and has built a Synagogue." {Luke 7:4-6} Jesus then went to the Gentile's house and healed his servant! Hallelujah!

Another example is about Cornelius, a Gentile, who was described "As a devout man and one who feared God . . . who gave alms generously to the people." {Acts 10:2} The people referred to were the Jews who lived near Cornelius in Caesarea. Cornelius's house was selected by God to be the first Gentile house to receive the Gospel Of Salvation and the first to receive the Outpouring of The Holy Spirit. Praise The Lord!

Currently, an example of a person who is blessed is Tom Hess, who leads the Jerusalem House Of Prayer For All Nations located on the Mount Of Olives. This ministry has people coming daily from all over the world to pray for Israel 24 hours a day. When a person enters the ministry building, they will hear harpists worshiping The Lord with beautiful music. {Psalm 150:3}

Especially now, we who love God and the Jewish People, need to persevere in our daily prayers and our actions in support of Israel!

Blessings,

Frank
