The Land?

Genesis 15 describes Jehovah God establishing a Covenant with Abraham saying to Abraham in verse 18, "To your descendants I have given this land from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates." This very large piece of land given by Jehovah God to the Jewish People would today cover the entire Middle East including Gaza that is in the news almost every day. United States President Donald Trump has a vision for this land, he desires for the people, when they return to be able to live in beautiful new homes enjoying their families and friends.

As we have done previously, please join us in praying portions of Psalm 125 entitled "Trust In The Lord" for our brothers and sisters in Israel.

Psalm 125 . . .

Vs. 1 - "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abided forever."

Vs. 2 - "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever."

Vs. 3 - "For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity."

Vs. 4 - "Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts."

Vs. 5 - "As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

"All Of Israel" Romans 11:26

At times when Christians gather, they sing "Nothing Is Impossible For Our God." We at For Zions Sake Ministry certainly agree and feel it is currently important to apply this verse to Israel now. Our God is "On The Move" in Gaza with hostages being released. However, once again, Anti-Semitism is on the rise especially on college campuses. Some Jewish students are afraid to go to their classes, these Jewish students need our prayers of protection every day.

Please Join Us In Praying Portions of Psalm 140 . . .

Vs. 1 - "Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men."

Vs. 2 - "Who plan evil things in their hearts; they continually gather together for war?"

Vs. 3 - "They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; the poison of asps is under their lips."

Vs. 4 - "Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have purpose to make my steps stumble."

Vs. 6 - "I said to The Lord; 'You are my God; hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.'"

Vs. 7 - "O God The Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle."

Vs. 8 - "Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; do not further his wicked scheme, lest they be exalted."

Vs. 12 - "I know that The Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor."

Vs. 13 - "Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence."

"Never Again Is Now"

The title for this message, "Never Again Is Now" is taken from portions of an article in the magazine Dispatch From Jerusalem as follows:

For over a year, Israel has been attacked on seven fronts; Hezbollah in Lebanon; Hamas in Gaza, Judea and Samaria; Houthis in Yemen; the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iraq and Syria and directly by the Iranian regime. Against all odds, Israel endures.

How is this possible? Psalm 83 is referred to as "A Plea For God To Destroy Israel's Enemies." The following are portions of Psalm 83 describing how Israel's enemies desire to destroy Israel but also describe how God responds and grants victory to Israel.

Please Join Us In Praying Portions Of Psalm 83:

Vs. 1 - "Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God!"

Vs. 2 - "For behold, Your enemies make a tumult."

Vs. 4 - "They have said, 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

Vs. 5 - "For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You."

Vs. 13 - "O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind!"

Vs. 16 - "Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord."

Vs. 18 - "That men may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth."

Rejoice With The Unity Of The Brethren

January 15, 2025, will be remembered as the day when Psalm 133 became a reality.  Hamas, a terror organization, who is holding the hostages in Gaza is releasing the women and children with a promise to release the men in 16 days. This is in response to the release of a large number of their prisoners now held in Israel. We also need to realize that Hamas makes not telling the truth a way of life. Only time will tell the truth!

Let Us Pray Psalm 133 As Follows:

Vs. 1 - "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Vs. 2 - "It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments."

Vs. 3 - "It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountain of Zion; for there The Lord commanded the blessing - Life Forevermore."

Let Us Also Pray Portions Of Psalm 33 As Follows:

Vs. 1 - "Rejoice in The Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful."

Vs. 2 - "Praise The Lord with the harp; make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings."

Vs. 3 - "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy."

Vs. 4 - "For the word of The Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth."

Vs. 5 - "He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of The Lord."

"For He Will Speak Peace"

The following message "For Zion's Sake Ministry" will be their first message for 2025. Please notice the title "For He Will Speak Peace" is found in Psalm 85:8. We are sure all of you would agree with us that "Peace" is needed throughout the whole world possibly more than ever before. How do we as God's People respond to this tenuous situation? We turn to Jehovah God on our knees in prayer and supplication acknowledging Him as the "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" and that the day is coming when "Every Knee Shall Bow and Every Tongue Shall Confess That Jesus Christ Is Lord." {Romans 14:11}

As we turn to The Lord in prayer, let us use portions of Psalm 85 because Verse 8 proclaims "For He Will Speak Peace."

Vs. 7 - "Show us Your mercy, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation."

Vs. 8 - "I will hear what God The Lord will speak for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly."

Vs. 9 - "Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land."

Vs. 10 - "Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other."

Vs. 11 - "Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven."

Vs. 12 - "Yes, The Lord will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase."

Vs. 13 - "Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway."

His Love And Attention

"All Is Calm" Luke 2:14

Our favorite Christmas Carol is Silent Night Holy Night because the second verse says, "All Is Calm." Luke 2:1-20 describes the birth of Jesus and verse 14 says "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." When we analyze this verse, we realize that the birth of the Son of God was meant to bring Peace on Earth. Did this happen? NO! Will it ever happen? YES! But only when Jesus physically returns to earth and rules and reigns during The Millennial Period. Well, can there be a degree of peace on earth now? YES! How can this happen? It happens through us His People spreading His love and care for all people each and every day!

Psalm 86 is entitled "Teach Me Your Way, O Lord" and reminds us to turn to The Lord each day with our prayers and requests resulting in us experiencing God's peace in our lives. {Psalm 86:5-12 as follows}

Vs. 5 - "For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You."

Vs. 6 - "Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications."

Vs. 7 - "In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me."

Vs. 8 - "Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; nor are there any works like Your works."

Vs. 9 - "All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name."

Vs. 10 - "For You are great and do wonderous things; You alone are God."

Vs. 11 - "Teach me Your ways, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name."

Vs. 12 - "I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore."

Love, Protection And Calm

God Gave {John 3:16}

"For God So Loved The World That He Gave His Only Begotten Son, That Whoever Believes In Him Should Not Perish But Have Everlasting Life." December is traditionally referred to as the "Month of Giving." John 3:16 illustrates for us Jehovah God giving to all people the most important gifts of salvation, eternal life and forgiveness of sins. When a person receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they also receive a relationship with God Himself. We are a blessed people because God Gave! Who can you give to this December?

An excellent reminder for all of us every day are portions of Psalm 138 reading as follows:

Vs. 3 - "In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul."

Vs. 4 - "All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O Lord, when they hear the word of Your mouth."

Vs. 5 - "Yes, they shall sing of the ways of The Lord, for great is the glory of The Lord."

Vs. 6 - "Though The Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar."

Vs. 7 - "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me."

Vs. 8 - "The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the work of Your hands."
