Our favorite Christmas Carol is Silent Night Holy Night because the second verse says, "All Is Calm." Luke 2:1-20 describes the birth of Jesus and verse 14 says "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." When we analyze this verse, we realize that the birth of the Son of God was meant to bring Peace on Earth. Did this happen? NO! Will it ever happen? YES! But only when Jesus physically returns to earth and rules and reigns during The Millennial Period. Well, can there be a degree of peace on earth now? YES! How can this happen? It happens through us His People spreading His love and care for all people each and every day!
Psalm 86 is entitled "Teach Me Your Way, O Lord" and reminds us to turn to The Lord each day with our prayers and requests resulting in us experiencing God's peace in our lives. {Psalm 86:5-12 as follows}
Vs. 5 - "For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You."
Vs. 6 - "Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications."
Vs. 7 - "In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me."
Vs. 8 - "Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; nor are there any works like Your works."
Vs. 9 - "All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name."
Vs. 10 - "For You are great and do wonderous things; You alone are God."
Vs. 11 - "Teach me Your ways, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name."
Vs. 12 - "I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore."
We Praise The Lord For His
Love, Protection And Calm
Each And Every Day!
We Thank You Jehovah God!
Blessed Christmas,
Frank
