The Land?

Genesis 15 describes Jehovah God establishing a Covenant with Abraham saying to Abraham in verse 18, "To your descendants I have given this land from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates." This very large piece of land given by Jehovah God to the Jewish People would today cover the entire Middle East including Gaza that is in the news almost every day. United States President Donald Trump has a vision for this land, he desires for the people, when they return to be able to live in beautiful new homes enjoying their families and friends.

As we have done previously, please join us in praying portions of Psalm 125 entitled "Trust In The Lord" for our brothers and sisters in Israel.

Psalm 125 . . .

Vs. 1 - "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abided forever."

Vs. 2 - "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever."

Vs. 3 - "For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity."

Vs. 4 - "Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts."

Vs. 5 - "As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

"All Of Israel" Romans 11:26

At times when Christians gather, they sing "Nothing Is Impossible For Our God." We at For Zions Sake Ministry certainly agree and feel it is currently important to apply this verse to Israel now. Our God is "On The Move" in Gaza with hostages being released. However, once again, Anti-Semitism is on the rise especially on college campuses. Some Jewish students are afraid to go to their classes, these Jewish students need our prayers of protection every day.

Please Join Us In Praying Portions of Psalm 140 . . .

Vs. 1 - "Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men."

Vs. 2 - "Who plan evil things in their hearts; they continually gather together for war?"

Vs. 3 - "They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; the poison of asps is under their lips."

Vs. 4 - "Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have purpose to make my steps stumble."

Vs. 6 - "I said to The Lord; 'You are my God; hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.'"

Vs. 7 - "O God The Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle."

Vs. 8 - "Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; do not further his wicked scheme, lest they be exalted."

Vs. 12 - "I know that The Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor."

Vs. 13 - "Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence."

"Never Again Is Now"

The title for this message, "Never Again Is Now" is taken from portions of an article in the magazine Dispatch From Jerusalem as follows:

For over a year, Israel has been attacked on seven fronts; Hezbollah in Lebanon; Hamas in Gaza, Judea and Samaria; Houthis in Yemen; the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iraq and Syria and directly by the Iranian regime. Against all odds, Israel endures.

How is this possible? Psalm 83 is referred to as "A Plea For God To Destroy Israel's Enemies." The following are portions of Psalm 83 describing how Israel's enemies desire to destroy Israel but also describe how God responds and grants victory to Israel.

Please Join Us In Praying Portions Of Psalm 83:

Vs. 1 - "Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God!"

Vs. 2 - "For behold, Your enemies make a tumult."

Vs. 4 - "They have said, 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

Vs. 5 - "For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You."

Vs. 13 - "O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind!"

Vs. 16 - "Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord."

Vs. 18 - "That men may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth."

Rejoice With The Unity Of The Brethren

January 15, 2025, will be remembered as the day when Psalm 133 became a reality.  Hamas, a terror organization, who is holding the hostages in Gaza is releasing the women and children with a promise to release the men in 16 days. This is in response to the release of a large number of their prisoners now held in Israel. We also need to realize that Hamas makes not telling the truth a way of life. Only time will tell the truth!

Let Us Pray Psalm 133 As Follows:

Vs. 1 - "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Vs. 2 - "It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments."

Vs. 3 - "It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountain of Zion; for there The Lord commanded the blessing - Life Forevermore."

Let Us Also Pray Portions Of Psalm 33 As Follows:

Vs. 1 - "Rejoice in The Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful."

Vs. 2 - "Praise The Lord with the harp; make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings."

Vs. 3 - "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy."

Vs. 4 - "For the word of The Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth."

Vs. 5 - "He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of The Lord."

"For He Will Speak Peace"

The following message "For Zion's Sake Ministry" will be their first message for 2025. Please notice the title "For He Will Speak Peace" is found in Psalm 85:8. We are sure all of you would agree with us that "Peace" is needed throughout the whole world possibly more than ever before. How do we as God's People respond to this tenuous situation? We turn to Jehovah God on our knees in prayer and supplication acknowledging Him as the "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" and that the day is coming when "Every Knee Shall Bow and Every Tongue Shall Confess That Jesus Christ Is Lord." {Romans 14:11}

As we turn to The Lord in prayer, let us use portions of Psalm 85 because Verse 8 proclaims "For He Will Speak Peace."

Vs. 7 - "Show us Your mercy, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation."

Vs. 8 - "I will hear what God The Lord will speak for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly."

Vs. 9 - "Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land."

Vs. 10 - "Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other."

Vs. 11 - "Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven."

Vs. 12 - "Yes, The Lord will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase."

Vs. 13 - "Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway."

His Love And Attention

"All Is Calm" Luke 2:14

Our favorite Christmas Carol is Silent Night Holy Night because the second verse says, "All Is Calm." Luke 2:1-20 describes the birth of Jesus and verse 14 says "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." When we analyze this verse, we realize that the birth of the Son of God was meant to bring Peace on Earth. Did this happen? NO! Will it ever happen? YES! But only when Jesus physically returns to earth and rules and reigns during The Millennial Period. Well, can there be a degree of peace on earth now? YES! How can this happen? It happens through us His People spreading His love and care for all people each and every day!

Psalm 86 is entitled "Teach Me Your Way, O Lord" and reminds us to turn to The Lord each day with our prayers and requests resulting in us experiencing God's peace in our lives. {Psalm 86:5-12 as follows}

Vs. 5 - "For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You."

Vs. 6 - "Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications."

Vs. 7 - "In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me."

Vs. 8 - "Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; nor are there any works like Your works."

Vs. 9 - "All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name."

Vs. 10 - "For You are great and do wonderous things; You alone are God."

Vs. 11 - "Teach me Your ways, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name."

Vs. 12 - "I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore."

God Gave {John 3:16}

"For God So Loved The World That He Gave His Only Begotten Son, That Whoever Believes In Him Should Not Perish But Have Everlasting Life." December is traditionally referred to as the "Month of Giving." John 3:16 illustrates for us Jehovah God giving to all people the most important gifts of salvation, eternal life and forgiveness of sins. When a person receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they also receive a relationship with God Himself. We are a blessed people because God Gave! Who can you give to this December?

An excellent reminder for all of us every day are portions of Psalm 138 reading as follows:

Vs. 3 - "In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul."

Vs. 4 - "All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O Lord, when they hear the word of Your mouth."

Vs. 5 - "Yes, they shall sing of the ways of The Lord, for great is the glory of The Lord."

Vs. 6 - "Though The Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar."

Vs. 7 - "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me."

Vs. 8 - "The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the work of Your hands."

Put On The Armor Of God

The title of this message is taken from Ephesians 6:10-17 which encourages us to "Be strong in The Lord and in the power of His might." {Verse 10} We are approaching the time of the year when our spiritual enemies are the most active. Apparently, these enemies do not appreciate our desiring to thank Jehovah God for all the blessings of our lives and follow that with praising our Lord for the birth of His Son. This raises the question of how we can defeat all the attacks of the enemy at every turn during this very special time of the year.

Ephesians 6:10-17 is "Put On The Whole Armor Of God," which reads as follows:

Vs. 10 - "Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord and in the power of His might."

Vs. 11 - "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Vs. 12 - "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Vs. 13 - "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

Vs. 14 - "Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness."

Vs. 15 - "And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"

Vs. 16 - "Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one."

Vs. 17 - "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

"The Days Fashioned For Me"

Mike Huckabee has been named the United States Ambassador to Israel by President-Elect Donald Trump. What is the relationship between this statement and the title for this message? During the last ten years it has been reported that Huckabee has visited Israel approximately 100 times! Indeed, we can state that during the last ten years his "Days were being fashioned for him by Jehovah God." This example is really for all of us who call Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! There is a Godly Ordained Plan For Each Of Our Lives! Praise The Lord!

Praying and studying the following portions of Psalm 139 each day would be a reminder of how much Jehovah God loves us and desires to take care of us. Our response is to seek His love as we read and recite portions of Scripture.

Psalm 139:

Vs. 13 - "For You have formed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb."

Vs. 14 - "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."

Vs. 15 - "My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest part of the earth."

Vs. 16 - "Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Vs. 17 - "How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!"

Vs. 18 - "If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand."

Dwelling With God

The title for this message is also the main theme for Psalm 84 which is "The Joy Of Dwelling With God." All the events of the last week especially in the United States where they re-elected  Donald J. Trump as president, could cause uneasiness or concern for some people. This raises the question, "how do we respond when events in our lives do not turn out the way we expected or are the total opposite of what we desired?" As always, the Word Of Jehovah God has the answer to all of life's questions and uneasiness. This message would apply no matter who was elected!

We believe the election of Donald J. Trump has been received very positively in Israel. The last time he was president the Abraham Accords were started between Saudi Arabia and Israel but were stopped when President Trump previously left the White House. Now we believe they will be completed. Let Us All Praise The Lord!

The days ahead for President Trump and all leaders of the Free World will be difficult and challenging but we believe they will be encouraged and blessed as we and they recite Psalm 84 entitled "The Joy Of Dwelling With God" as follows:

Vs. 1 - "How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts!"

Vs. 2 - "My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God."

Vs. 3 - "Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young - even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God."

Vs. 4 - "Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You."

Vs. 5 - "Blessed is the man whose strength is in you. Whose heart is set on pilgrimage."

Vs. 6 - "As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools."

Vs. 7 - "They go from strength to strength; every one of them appears before God in Zion."

Vs. 8 - "O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob!"

And Attention Each And Every Day!

"He Declares His Word To Jacob"

The title for this message is taken from Psalm 147:19. Also, Psalm 147:2 states that "The Lord builds up Jerusalem." These are encouraging words for Israel and the Jewish People who live in Israel. The overall situation in Israel is very unsettled, however, Jehovah God has granted numerous military victories. Other portions of Psalm 147 are very encouraging for those who live in Israel. Please note verses 5, 6 and 15 state "Great is our Lord and mighty in power - the Lord casts the wicked to the ground - He sends out His command to the earth."

The people in Israel can be encouraged each day in The Lord when they recite portions of Psalm 147 as follows:

Vs 1 - "Praise The Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and praise is beautiful."

Vs. 2 - "The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel."

Vs. 3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Vs. 4 - "He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name."

Vs. 5 - "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite."

Vs. 6 - "The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground."

Vs.  7 - "Sing to The Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises on the harp to our God."

Vs. 8 - "Who covers the heavens with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the mountains."

Vs. 9 - "He gives to the beasts its food and to the young ravens that cry."

Vs. 10 - "He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man."

Vs. 11 - "The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, and those who hope in His mercy."

Vs. 12 - "Praise The Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!"

God Is Still In Control

As we observe the happenings in the Middle East, we could wonder where is God, is He still in control? YES - He Is Still In Control! Please observe that the leaders of Hamas and Hezbullah, both terror organizations, have been assassinated and their Monetary System destroyed. Hamas has surrendered in Gaza and there is a possibility that the Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} will invade Lebanon and gain total control of the country.

To illustrate the seriousness of the situation in Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu's vacation home in Cesarea was bombed, fortunately the Prime Minister was in Jerusalem during this situation. We Praise The Lord for His protection of Netanyahu and his family.

We need to pray for Godly guidance for the leaders of Israel which is The Knesset. Please join us in the praying of Psalm 121:

Vs. 1- "I will lift my eyes to the hills - from whence comes my help?"

Vs. 2 - "My help comes from The Lord, who made heaven and earth."

Vs. 3 - "He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber."

Vs. 4 - "Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."

Vs. 5 - "The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand."

Vs. 6 - "The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night."

Vs. 7 - "The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul."

Vs. 8 - "The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forevermore."

"Hope In God"

We at For Zion's Sake Ministry sincerely pray for all those in Israel that their hope is indeed in God. Hezbullah, a terror organization in Lebanon, was planning to invade all the towns in Northern Israel leading to them eliminating "All Of Israel." As a result, the Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} have invaded Lebanon with the goal of eliminating Hezbullah and gaining total control of Lebanon's capital. Bibi Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, has stated "We are defending ourselves on seven fronts."

Psalm 43 is entitled "Hope In God." We pray for all those who love Israel will proclaim Psalm 43 on their behalf each day and also trust those in Israel will do the same as follows:

Vs. 1 - "Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!"

Vs. 2 - "For You are the God of my strength; why do you cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?"

Vs. 3 - "Oh send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle."

Vs. 4 - "Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise you, O God, my God."

Vs. 5 - "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God."

"Unbelievable"

We have entitled this message "Unbelievable" because events are taking place in Israel which have not happened previously. For example, long range missiles have been fired into Israel at a pace of 40 - 140 per day fired toward Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} has responded by destroying the Fort that fired the missiles and have destroyed many Drones. Also, we just learned of members of Hezbullah in Lebanon have had their pagers destroyed as they were holding them in their hands. Let Us Always Remember That God Is In Control!

Psalm 83 is entitled "Plea For God To Destroy Israel's Enemies. Please join us at For Zion's Sake Ministry by praying portions of Psalm 83 every day as follows:

Vs. 1 - "Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God!"

Vs. 2 - "For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head."

Vs. 3 - "They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones."

Vs. 4 - "They have said, 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.'"

Vs. 5 - "For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You.

Vs. 13 - "O my God, make them like the whirling dust like the chaff before the wind!"

Vs. 14 - "As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire."

Vs. 15 - "So pursue them with Your tempest and frighten them with Your storm."

Vs. 16 - "Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord."

Vs. 17 - "Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish."

Vs. 18 - "That men may know that You, whose name alone is The Lord, are the Most High over the earth."

"Watchmen"

Isaiah 62:6,7 says, "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of The Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

What does it mean to be a "Watchmen" on the walls of Jerusalem? It means that an individual will pray continually over a city or a situation until Jehovah God answers the prayer. Currently, Jerusalem and Israel need "Watchmen." The Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} are in the process of eliminating Hamas in Southern Gaza at the Philadelphia line and are also at Israeli's Northern border eliminating Hasbullah.

Let us all who love Israel be "Watchmen" by praying daily Isaiah 62:1-5 as follows:

Vs. 1 - "For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns."

Vs. 2 - "The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory, you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of The Lord will name."

Vs. 3 - "You shall also be a crown of glory in the hands of The Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God."

Vs. 4 - "You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed desolate; but you shall be called Hephzibah and your land Beulah; for The Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married."

Vs. 5 - "For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you."

Iran Has "Crossed The Line"

Recent news reports have revealed a number of military victories for Israel. They have assassinated the leaders of Hezbullah in Lebanon and the leader of Iran. Also, they destroyed a large camp of enemies in the West Bank. Jehovah God has won every war that Israel has fought. However, Iran has "crossed the line" in killing a man in Israel! This is the first time such an event has taken place in Israel.

We who love Israel need to intercede in prayer for the Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} realizing at the same time that the Jewish People at the Western Wall are singing the Psalms as a form of worshipping Jehovah God. Let us worship God in a similar manner using certain versus of Psalm 105 as follows:

Vs. 1 - "Oh, give thanks to The Lord! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples."

Vs. 2 - "Sing to Him, sing Psalms to Him; talk of all His wonderous works."

Vs. 3 - "Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek The Lord."

Vs. 4 - "Seek The Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore."

Vs. 5 - "Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders and the judgements of His mouth."

Vs. 6 - "O seed of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones!"

Vs. 7 - "He is The Lord our God; His judgements are in all the earth."

Vs. 8 - "He has remembered His covenant forever, the word which He commanded for a thousand generations."

Vs. 9 - "The covenant which He made with Abraham and His oath to Isaac."

Vs. 10 - "And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute to Israel for an everlasting covenant."

Vs. 11 - "Saying 'To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance.'"

The Truth!

If you have been watching the Democratic National Convention, you have noticed that the outside demonstrators are proclaiming that "Palestinians" are being killed in Israel. This is totally untrue! No one is being killed in Israel! We need to understand that these "professional demonstrators" are paid and told what misinformation to declare.

As a result, we are going to declare "THE TRUTH." There is no war happening now in Israel! The Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} are identifying and eliminating Hamas in Gaza and Hezbullah on their Northern border. Recently, they assassinated the Hezbullah leader and the Iranian leader. Israel is currently on "High Alert" expecting a retaliation.

The IDF and the people of Israel urgently need our prayers! Please join us in daily praying portions of Psalm 27.

Vs. 1 - "The Lord is my life and my salvation; whom shall I fear?"

Vs. 2 - "When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell."

Vs. 3 - "Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I will be confident."

Vs. 5 - "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle, He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."

Vs. 6 - "And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore, I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord."

God Is On Our Side

We chose the title for Psalm 124 as a theme for this message. In one of our recent messages, we reported that "Israel was fighting two wars - one in Gaza and one on their Northern border." We also reported that Jehovah God has won every war in Israel's history.

Currently, the Israeli Defense Forces {IDF} became very aggressive and assassinated the Hezbullah leader in Lebanon and assassinated the leader in Iran. These were two critically important military victories for the IDF and validate God's Word of Psalm 124 which is entitled "God Is On Our Side."

We have chosen the whole Psalm for us to pray, worship and mediate on a daily basis as the Jewish People do at The Western Wall:

Vs. 1, 2 - "If it had not been The Lord who was on our side, let Israel now say - If it had not been The Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us."

Vs. 3 - "Then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us."

Vs. 4 - "Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul."

Vs. 5 - "Then the swollen waters would have gone over our souls."

Vs. 6 - "Blessed be The Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth."

Vs. 7 - "Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare is broken, and we have escaped."

Vs. 8 - "Our help is in the name of The Lord, Who made heaven and earth."

Two Wars!

We learned during last week that the Israeli Defense Forces  assassinated the leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the leader in Iran. As a result, the airport in Jerusalem is closed as Israel awaits a military response from Iran. At the same time, the IDF in Gaza is in the process of identifying and eliminating Hamas. In reality the IDF is fighting two wars at the same time.

The IDF urgently needs our daily prayers and we who love and support Israel should pledge to pray the following portions of Isaiah 62 in support of the IDF:

Vs. 1 - "For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns."

Vs. 2 - "The Gentiles shall see your righteousness and all kings your glory."

Vs. 4 - "You shall no longer be termed forsaken, nor shall your land be turned desolate."

Vs. 6 - "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of The Lord, do not keep silent."

Vs. 7 - "And give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

Vs. 11 - "Indeed The Lord has proclaimed to the end of the world; 'say to the daughter of Zion, surely your salvation is coming.'"

Vs. 12 - "And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of The Lord."

Trust In The Lord

The war that Israel is fighting on its Northern border has become out of control and downright ugly! Hezbollah has been firing rockets into the small towns of Northern Israel. Within the last two days they have fired rockets upon children and killing them on the Golan Heights. It appears evil has no limits as it attacks God's People. However, we all should be encouraged because Psalm 37 verses 9,10 says, "For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on The Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more."

Psalm 37 has 40 verses. We have chosen a number of verses which illustrates evil being defeated and God's People being victories:

Vs. 1 - "Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity."

Vs. 2 - "For they shall soon be cut down like the grass."

Vs. 5 - "Commit your way to The Lord, trust also in Him."

Vs. 8 - "Cease from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret - it only causes harm."

Vs. 11 - "But the meek shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

Vs. 12 - "The wicked plots against the just and gnashes at him with his teeth."

Vs. 13 - "The Lord laughs at him."

Vs. 16 - "A little that a righteous man has a better than the riches of many wicked."

Vs. 17 - "For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but The Lord upholds the righteous."

We Praise The Lord For His Love And Protection

Each And Every Day! We Thank You Jehovah God!
