Jesus, The Revelator

Revelation 6:1 says, "Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, 'Come and see.'" This verse of Chapter six shows Jesus Christ opening the first seal. A definite transition is taking place because Revelation 6:1 illustrates Jesus is about to pour out His Wrath.

We feel this would be a time in our study of Revelation to review what we have learned and to attempt to determine why would a loving God pour out His Wrath. Chapter one showed Jesus illustrating who He is:

The Faithful Witness - Verse 5

Ruler Over The Earth - Verse 5

Washed Us From Our Sins - Verse 5

The Alpha And Omega - Verse 8

The Beginning And The End - Verse 8

Chapters two and three illustrated Jesus complimenting the churches on their positive actions but also correcting them. We were then able to observe the actual Throne Of God as the Four Living Creatures and Elders worshipped Jehovah God.

Our last message studied Chapter five which raised the question "Who can open the Seal?" We also learned of a principle of the Book of Revelation illustrating thousands of people worshipping the Throne of God just prior to the start of a major event.

Why would a loving and caring God who created and loves each person desire to pour out His Wrath? We must first realize that God's Wrath will only be poured out on those who have rejected Him. All those who have received Jesus as Savior will be in Heaven when the Tribulation Period starts. Again, those who will experience God's Wrath are people who have rejected Him numerous times.

NOW . . . WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT! If you desire to know without a doubt that you will not experience God's Wrath, please pray this prayer to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior:

Jesus, I know I Am A Sinner

Please Forgive Me Of All My Sins

I Know Jesus Is Lord And God Raised Him From The Dead

Please Come To Live Within My Heart And Save Me

Thank You Jesus!

Blessings,

Frank
