Jesus, The Revelator

Revelation 8 illustrates the first four trumpet blasts as part of Jesus pouring out His Wrath. We will list the results of these blasts but desire to end this message by explaining why will a loving and caring God pour out His Wrath?

The first four trumpet blasts will result in:

A Third Of The Trees Will Be Burned Up . . .

A Third Of All Green Grass Will Be Burned Up . . .

A Third Of The Sea Will Become Blood . . .

A Third Of Sea Creatures Will Die . . .

A Third Of Ships Will Be Destroyed . . .

A Third Of The Day And The Night Will Not Shine . . .

Many Men Will Die From Bitter Water

Why was it God's desire for Jesus to pour out His Wrath? Before we attempt to answer this question, it is vitally important to understand that only those "Unsaved" at the time of the rapture will experience God's Wrath. They rejected His offer of salvation through the Death and Resurrection of Jesus.

Jehovah God maintains a Wall Of Protection around all the people of the world. However, when a person totally and willfully rejects Jesus as Savior, there comes a time when God will withdraw His protection. All those living during the Tribulation Period will have lost God's Protection and will experience His Wrath.

After reading this message, possibly you now know, without a doubt, it is time to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please pray this life changing prayer:

Jesus, I Know I Am A Sinner . . .

Please Forgive Me Of All My Sins . . .

I Proclaim With My Mouth Jesus Is Lord . . .

And That God Raised Him From The Dead . . .

Please Come And Live Within My Heart As My Savior . . .

Thank You Jesus, I AM SAVED!

Blessings,

Frank

Jesus, The Revelator

Our last message introduced us to the 144,000 Jewish men hand-picked by God and sealed by God but their exact assignment is not mentioned. One possible assignment discussed by Biblical Scholars is that they will travel the world as ambassadors of Jesus Christ. This is an intriguing theory. If this is true, all 144,000 will have to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Could this be the start of "All Israel Being Saved" as stated in Romans 11:26.

Revelation 7:13-15 says, "Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, 'who are these arrayed in white robes and where did they come from? And I said to him, Sir, you know, these are the ones who come out of the great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the Throne will dwell among them.'" This group who will be saved out of the tribulation are different from those "under the altar." {Revelation 6:9} This group of saved tribulation saints serve God day and night in Heaven.

Revelation 8:1 says, "When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour." The exact reason why there is half an hour of silence in Heaven is not explained. However, we can examine the events in Heaven during the time of silence. Seven angels stand before the throne of God holding seven trumpets. Each trumpet will represent a segment of Jesus pouring out His Wrath.

Prior to the trumpet's blasts, a very important event will happen before the throne of God. Revelation 8:3-4 says, "Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And he was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand."

The incense censer is the prayers of the saints from around the world. God promised to the martyrs under the altar that when the proper number of people have repented He would unleash His recompence. {Revelation 6:11} At the end of the half hour of silence, that number will be reached and the sound of the trumpets will start. Stay Tuned!

Jesus, The Revelator

We at For Zion's Sake Ministry are pleased that you are taking this journey through the Book of Revelation with us. This journey has many twists and turns and sudden changes of direction. We will see a change from chapter six into chapter seven. Chapter six ended with Jesus starting to pour out His Wrath. Chapter seven shows God giving an assignment to 144,000 Jewish men but also includes a great multitude of saved people worshipping God in Heaven.

Revelation 7:2-4 says, "Then I saw another angel ascending from the East, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, 'do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.' And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed."

Sometime during the seven-year Tribulation Period, our Lord will hand pick 144,000 Jewish men {12,000 from each tribe} and will seal them to protect them. However, chapter seven does not define why they are identified by God and why they are sealed by God. One train of thought is that the 144,000 become world-wide witnesses for Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Additionally, chapter 14:1-5 shows the 144,000 before the Throne of God worshipping with a song no one else could learn. They are described as "One who follows the Lamb wherever He goes." Their exact assignment appears to be a mystery!

Revelation 7:9-10 says, "After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb!'" This is a clear description of those who were saved at the time of the Rapture worshipping God before His Throne. Hallelujah!

Our next message will illustrate another turn or twist in Jesus' message of Revelation because it starts up again showing Jesus pouring out His Wrath. Stay Tuned.
