For Zion's Sake Ministry is taking a break from our continuing study of Revelation to present a special Holy Week message entitled "He Knew." All who have received Jesus as their Savor know He came to earth for one reason - TO DIE. No one knows how this important assignment for Jesus took place in Heaven. However, the Word of God illustrates Jesus knowing without a doubt why He came to earth. This special Holy Week message will proclaim "He Knew" Be encouraged, Jesus Knows All!
The first mention of Jesus as an adult was His Baptism when God said in Matthew 4:17, "This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Jehovah God said to His Son Jesus I am pleased with You even before Jesus had started His important assignment. "He Knew"
Matthew 16:20 says, "Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus The Christ." "He Knew"
At the Transfiguration God spoke to Jesus saying in Matthew 17:5, "This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, Hear Him!" Also at the Transfiguration, Jesus said in Matthew 17:9 to His beloved disciples "Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead." "He Knew"
Matthew 17:22,23 shows Jesus saying to the disciples, "The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him and the third day He will be raised up." "He Knew"
Matthew 20:18 shows Jesus talking to His disciples saying, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priest and to the scribes and they will condemn Him to death." "He Knew"
Matthew 26:2 shows Jesus talking to His disciples saying, "You know that after two days is the Passover and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified." "He Knew"
In preparation for the Passover Meal, Jesus said in Matthew 26:18 to the disciples, "Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, The Teacher says, 'My time is at hand.'" "He Knew"
At the Passover Meal, Jesus said in Matthew 26:26, "Take, eat, 'This is my body.'" "He Knew"
May You Have A Blessed Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday!
He Is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
Blessings,
Frank
