You might be wondering who currently said "Who Can I Trust?" In the days and times that we live, most likely many people are asking the same question. Probably the question should be "Who Can I Trust" other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? However, for this message we are thinking specifically of the Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu.
Currently, the Israeli Defense Forces of Israel are in Southern Gaza with the primary purpose of identifying and eliminating Hamas. This assignment comes with many difficult challenges. They must identify who is Hamas among the citizens and the newest challenge is Egypt, who used to be a friend of Israel, is now siding with Hamas. We also learned that tents which Israel provided for the citizens just "mysteriously" burned. Who can really believe this is a "mystery?"
The Israeli Defense Forces and the citizens of Southern Gaza certainly need our continuing prayers. Please pray with us Psalm 75.
Vs. 1 - "We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near."
Vs. 2 - "When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly."
Vs. 3 - "The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I set up its pillars firmly."
Vs. 4,5 - "I said to the boastful, 'do not deal boastfully,' and to the wicked, 'do not lift up the horn. Do not lift up your horn on high; do not speak with a stiff neck.'"
Vs. 6 - "For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south."
Vs. 7 - "But God is the Judge; He puts down one, and exalts another."
Vs. 8 - "For in the hand of The Lord is a cup, and the wine is red; it is fully mixed, and He pours it out; surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth drain and drink down."
Vs. 9 - "But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob."
Vs. 10 - "All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."
Blessings,
Frank
