Please notice the title in which Gnesis 12:3 says "I Will Bless Those Who Bless You." Jehovah God desires to bless those who bless Israel. Each weekly message will bring an update of happenings in Israel and will end with prayer for those situations using a Psalm as the reference.
When Benjamin Netanyahu was recently re-elected as Prime Minister, it was believed Right-Wing Politics would dominate decisions. After four months, there is a crisis in the Right-Wing Coalition. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Guir has said he will not vote with the Right-Wing Coalition unless Netanyahu pursues more Right-Wing Policies.
Ben Guir believes Netanyahu reacted in a weak manner in his response to rocket attacks from Gaza. The prime minister responded by saying, "If Ben Guir is dissatisfied, he is welcome to leave the government." Ben Guir also feels as Minister of National Security, he should be involved in discussions on how to respond to rocket attacks. Possibly, Ben Guir was not invited to discussions because he believes the way to deal with Gaza is "To bomb it into oblivion." The Knesset does not welcome this type of attitude.
Currently, Right-Wing Politics is not capable of functioning in Israel. Israel's leadership has to always pay attention to political considerations worldwide. Israel's hands are not free to function as they desire!
Is Israel's Government an abomination to Jehovah God? Israel rejected God as their King in 1Samuel 8:5 when they said "Now make for us a king to judge us like all the nations." Likewise, Israel's current government is considered a democracy but please notice all the turmoil in its attempt to function with results.
How can we pray for the government in Israel? Psalm 81 is entitled "God's Plea For Israel's Obedience." Please pray the following verses with us:
Verse 1. "Sing aloud to God our strength."
Verse 8. "Hear, O My people and I will admonish you!"
Verse 9. "There shall be no foreign god among you."
Verse 10 "I am the Lord your God."
Verse 13. " Oh that My people would listen to Me."
Verse 14. "I would soon subdue their enemies."
Hallelujah . . . Bless His Holy Name!
Blessings,
Frank
