This will be the final message in our study of the Book Of Revelation. Some of you might be declaring Hallelujah! We know many pastors do not teach Revelation believing it is difficult to understand. Yes, it can be challenging but we believe Christians need to know what has to take place prior to Jesus returning to earth. We hope you now feel more confident about end time events.
Revelation 19:7-8 says, "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints."
This is one of the most special couple of verses in God's Word. The timing of this event is challenging but it is believed to happen at the end of the Tribulation Period just prior to Jesus returning to earth. Those who are "Saved" are invited to this most Glorious Meal In History! We will sit and eat a meal with Jesus as The Host. John 14:2 says Jesus "Has prepared a place for us" to include this very special meal. Bless His Holy Name!
We also believe that shortly after this special meal Jesus returns to earth. {Revelation 19:11-21.} It is important to understand all that is happening at this point in time. The kings of the earth have gathered armies at the valley called Meggog in Israel to invade Jerusalem. This battle is also referred to as the Battle of Armageddon. Jesus is observing all of these events.
Revelation 19:11-21 are entitled "Second Coming Of Jesus" and verse 11 says, "Then I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True and in righteousness He judges and makes war." Jesus is coming to earth riding on a white horse in the sky. All those who are saved will follow Him dressed in white riding on white horses. {Revelation 19:14.}
Revelation 19:15 says, "Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations." Jesus instantly defeats the armies attempting to destroy Jerusalem starting His ruling and reigning on earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah!
Our next message will start a time when we will bring updates on the tense scenario in Israel and how we all can pray effectively for the "Peace of Jerusalem." based on the Psalms.
Blessings,
Frank
