In light of all the turmoil currently taking place in Israel and Gaza, we at For Zion's Sake Ministry sense we all need to be reminded "God Is In Control!" Israel has had to fight many battles even one on the day it was founded in May of 1948. As we declare again God Is In Control, this is proven by the fact that God has won every battle for Israel and the current battle will end with Israel victorious in control of Gaza. The only question is when will this happen? Praise The Lord!
In the meantime, all of us who love Israel should pray diligently that God will bring forth this victory sooner than later. We have learned that a very effective way to pray is to repeat God's Word back to Him in our prayers. The following are Psalms we can pray now that illustrate Jehovah God Taking Care Of Israel:
Psalm 98:1-3 - "Oh, sing to The Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has openly shown in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel."
Psalm 99:1-3 - "The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim; let the earth be moved! The Lord Is Great In Zion, and He is high above all the peoples."
Psalm 102:12,13,16 - "But You, O Lord, shall endure forever, and the remembrance of Your name to all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time has come . . . for The Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory."
Psalm 125:1-2 - "Those who trust in The Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abide forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so The Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever."
Currently, we are witnessing our Lord God answering our prayers with the Israel Defense Forces in control of North Gaza and with hostages being released. Let us all persevere in our prayers for God to grant Israel total and complete victory in Gaza. Bless His Holy Name!
Blessings,
Frank
